Essie joined the kindergarten in August 2025 and currently works as an Assistant Teacher in the Caterpillar Class. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with her Master’s degree from Capital Normal University, where she focused on care and management for infants and toddlers aged 0–3. Before joining the kindergarten, she worked for two years in an A-level public kindergarten in Beijing. Since joining the kindergarten, she has undertaken Montessori teacher training through the Australian Montessori Training Institute (AMTI) and is currently a teacher trainee. She holds teaching certificates for kindergarten and primary-school English education. Essie enjoys English, music, and nature education, and has participated in early childhood and nature education observation and exchange in Japan. She values understanding each child’s development and individual needs through careful observation and supports children’s exploration, communication, and growing independence through purposeful environments and responsive interactions. She believes that good education begins with respect and trust, giving children the security and freedom to grow at their own pace.
