Charles Richard Becker is the Head of International Faculty. Originally from the UK, he is a trained AMS (American Montessori Society) 3–6 homeroom teacher. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.B.S.) from Fudan University and has accumulated over ten years of experience in early childhood education. Richard joined THDK in August 2021. Fluent in English, French, German, and Chinese, he enjoys connecting with children and families from diverse backgrounds. His hobbies include reading and exercising. He is deeply committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and multicultural learning environment where every child feels valued. His teaching philosophy is best captured by Dr. Maria Montessori: “The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, ‘The children are now working as if I did not exist.’”
