Tredoux Willemse is originally from South Africa. He holds a B.A. in Human Resource Management from the University of Johannesburg and is an AMS-Certified Montessori Educator specialising in Early Childhood (3–6). With over 12 years of experience in early childhood education across Germany, South Korea, Cambodia and China, Tredoux has been part of THDK since 2023. In the classroom, he is dedicated to building a culture of respect, curiosity and joy, creating an environment where young learners feel safe to explore, question and grow. Outside of teaching, Tredoux is an avid cyclist who loves exploring Beijing's hutongs on two wheels, an enthusiastic home cook always experimenting with new recipes, and a lifelong reader with a soft spot for history and travel writing. His guiding philosophy is simple: a child's greatest motivation to learn comes from seeing their own progress — and his role is to make that progress visible, one small success at a time.
